These Site Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aletheia Health website at aletheiamd.com and its pages, including the support assistant, forms, videos, and newsletters offered through it (together, the “Website”). The Website is operated by Aletheia Health Inc. (“Aletheia Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Website on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
The Website is intended for healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, payors, prospective employees, investors, and others with a business interest in our work. You must be at least the age of majority where you live to submit information through the Website.
The Website describes our company and our agentic AI products for healthcare payments. Its content is provided for general information only and may change at any time without notice.
Nothing on the Website is medical, legal, coding, billing, tax, or financial advice. Coding and billing decisions remain the responsibility of the treating provider and their organization. Fee amounts, billing rules, and payer policies change, and the Website may not reflect the latest version.
Some features of the Website, including the support assistant, produce responses using artificial intelligence. These responses can be incomplete or wrong, are not reviewed by a person before you see them, and should not be relied on for clinical, billing, or legal decisions. You can ask to speak with a person at any time.
Product screens, figures, examples, and videos on the Website are illustrative. They may use sample data, dramatizations, and computer-generated imagery or voices, and do not show real patients or real claims.
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
These Terms cover the public Website only. Use of the Aletheia Health platform and its services is governed by a separate written agreement between Aletheia Health and the customer organization, together with any Business Associate Agreement, data processing agreement, or agent agreement that applies. If those agreements conflict with these Terms, those agreements control for the services they cover.
The Website is not designed to receive protected health information (as defined by HIPAA) or personal health information (as defined by Ontario’s PHIPA). Please do not enter patient names, health card or insurance numbers, dates of birth, diagnoses, or other patient information into Website forms or the support assistant. If you do, we may delete it. Patient information should only be shared with us through the platform, under the agreements described above.
When you request a demo, apply for a role, subscribe to updates, use the support assistant, or otherwise send us information through the Website, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. You keep ownership of what you send, and you allow us to use it to respond to you, provide what you asked for, and operate and improve the Website.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about the Website or our products, you agree that we may use it for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you. Feedback is not treated as confidential unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and design, are owned by Aletheia Health or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Aletheia Health name, logo, and the phrases “AI as it was Intended” and “Practices Paid. Patients Protected.” are our trademarks, and you may not use them without our prior written permission.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the Website for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Website or its content without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Other names and logos shown on the Website, such as those of universities or partners, belong to their respective owners, and their display does not imply endorsement.
If you believe content on the Website infringes your copyright, send a notice to allan@allantran.ca that includes:
We will review each notice and may remove or disable access to content that we determine infringes the rights of others.
The Website may link to, embed, or rely on third-party websites and services that we do not control, such as video hosting, scheduling, and analytics providers. We are not responsible for their content, availability, policies, or practices, and a link does not imply our endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms.
You agree to comply with the export control and economic sanctions laws of Canada, the United States, and any other jurisdiction that applies to you. You may not use the Website if you are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are named on a government list of restricted or sanctioned parties.
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free, or free of harmful components, or that any content, including responses from the support assistant, is accurate or current. You use the Website at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aletheia Health and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Website or these Terms is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties or damages to be excluded or limited, so some of the limits above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aletheia Health and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we may also give notice on the Website. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Website after that means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or block your access to all or part of the Website at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or the law, or to protect the Website, our users, or others. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive any suspension.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict of laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario for any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Website, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before starting a proceeding, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of these Terms or the Website must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
By using the Website or sending us an email or form, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. We may give you notice by email to an address you have given us or by posting on the Website, and you agree that electronic notices satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing. Marketing emails will always include a way to unsubscribe.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policy posted on the Website, are the entire agreement between you and Aletheia Health about the Website, and replace any earlier version. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law. There are no third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Headings are for convenience only. The parties have requested that these Terms be drawn up in English.
If you have questions about these Terms, or want to report a violation, contact us at allan@allantran.ca.
These terms are a starting template tailored to Aletheia Health and are not legal advice. Please have them reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before relying on them.
