Aletheia Health wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and learn about our work. We treat accessibility as part of building good software, not an afterthought.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the basis for accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in Canada and are widely used to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States.
Our website uses semantic headings and landmarks, a “Skip to content” link, and descriptive text for meaningful images, so it works with screen readers and keyboard navigation. Interactive elements show a visible focus outline.
Our brand film has English captions, and its play button is reachable by keyboard. Motion and animation on the site turn off automatically when your device is set to reduce motion.
We check new pages for keyboard access, color contrast, and screen reader labels before they go live.
Some content may not yet fully meet our target, for example older images or third-party logos. Captions are available in English only. We are working through these, and we welcome reports of anything we have missed.
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, contact us at allan@allantran.ca. Tell us the page and what you were trying to do, and we will respond within two business days and work with you to provide the information you need.
